Your child isn't lazy. Their brain might just work differently.
Physician-led ADHD assessment for children and teens, by video, from home. Free with their Alberta Health Card. No referral, no waitlist to join.

Proudly Supporting
ADHD looks different at every age.
Pick your child's stage. If several of these have been true at home and at school for six months or more, it's worth an assessment.
- Homework becomes a nightly battle
- Loses jackets, lunches, and permission slips
- Knows the material but makes careless mistakes
- Interrupts and blurts out answers
- Daydreams through lessons
- Friendships strained by impulsive moments
Not every child with ADHD is bouncing off the walls.
There are three presentations. The quiet one is the most often missed, especially in girls.
Inattentive
Drifts off, loses things, seems not to listen. Often called a daydreamer and overlooked for years.
Hyperactive-impulsive
Constant motion, blurts out answers, struggles to wait. The one teachers notice first.
Combined
A mix of both. The most common presentation in children who are diagnosed.
A proper assessment, not a checklist and a prescription.
Your physician takes a full developmental history, listens to what you and the school have noticed, and looks at what else could explain it. Then they tell you plainly what they think is going on.
- A full hour by video, parent and child together
- Time for your child to speak privately if they'd rather
- Screening for anxiety, sleep, learning, and mood alongside ADHD
- A written plan you can share with the school
- Internal referral to our child psychiatrists where needed

From booking to a plan, without a referral.

A parent picks a time and answers a few questions. About 4 minutes, no payment details.
The assessment
A full hour with an Alberta physician, from home. Bring report cards or teacher notes if you have them.
Plan and follow-up
A clear care plan, psychiatry in-house if needed, and unlimited follow-ups as your child grows.
No parent here is pressured into medicating their child.
Asking for an assessment isn't a mark against you as a parent. It's what gets a child help years earlier than waiting does. You stay the decision-maker throughout.
Parent strategies
Routines, instructions, and rewards that work with how your child's attention works.
School supports
Guidance on what's clinically appropriate to share and request from the school.
Therapy, sleep, and screens
Behavioural therapy and the everyday structure that makes the biggest difference.
Medication, only if it fits
Explained honestly with the trade-offs. Your choice, reviewed at every follow-up.
One assessment instead of a queue for each question.
In children, ADHD rarely shows up alone. Our physicians look across all of it at once, so you're not restarting a waitlist for every concern.
Your child will be seen by a physician, not a chatbot.
Every EaseCare clinician is licensed and regulated by their provincial college.

What it costs: nothing, with a valid Alberta Health Card.

Yes. Plenty of first appointments start with a parent describing what they've seen. Your physician can advise on how to approach your child from there.
The first hour covers history, home and school patterns, and other possible explanations. Sometimes that's enough for a clear picture; sometimes your physician will ask for teacher input or a follow-up first. Follow-ups are unlimited.
Your physician gives you a written care plan and can advise on what's clinically appropriate to share with the school. Where formal documentation is warranted, that's a medical judgement made in the appointment.
It's a confidential medical record protected under PIPEDA and Alberta's Health Information Act. It isn't shared with the school or anyone else without your consent.
