The signs people dismiss for decades.

You don't have to be in crisis to qualify for care.

You start five things and finish none
Deadlines only move when they become emergencies
You lose the thread mid-conversation
Your phone is a graveyard of half-written messages
Restlessness that makes sitting still uncomfortable
You've been called lazy your whole life and don't believe it
Time blindness, an hour disappears
Rejection and criticism land unusually hard
A child or sibling has already been diagnosed
Get assessed, freeTakes about 4 minutes to book. No payment details.

What a first appointment actually looks like

A full one-hour video visit with an Alberta physician. They ask about what's been happening, how long it's been going on, and what you've already tried. Nothing is decided without you, and follow-up appointments are unlimited.

  • A full hour with your physician, not a 5-minute triage call
  • Plain-language explanation of what's driving your symptoms
  • A written care plan you leave the appointment with
  • Internal referral to our psychiatrists or counsellors if you need it
  • Unlimited follow-up appointments, you're never left alone with a plan
On stimulants

Stimulants are an option, not the plan.

Some patients do best with medication, others with structure, coaching, CBT, or treating the anxiety underneath. Your physician explains what each option realistically does and you choose together.

If you do choose it, you get unlimited follow-up appointments to adjust or stop, not a prescription and silence.

ADHD is the condition most often missed behind something else.

Mental health rarely arrives one condition at a time. Because our physicians assess across 100+ conditions and all 19 clinical categories, you get one coordinated plan instead of several separate referrals.

Questions about ADHD assessment

Adults absolutely. Most of our ADHD assessments are adults who went undiagnosed through school. We also assess children and teens through our child psychiatry service.

It starts with a full one-hour physician appointment covering history, school and work patterns, and current symptoms. If further assessment or psychiatry is needed, that referral happens inside our own team.

Physician assessment and every follow-up appointment are billed to AHCIP, no cost to you, no credit card at booking, no cap on visits. Optional non-physician services such as counselling are quoted transparently before you commit.

No. You book directly. If your plan calls for a psychiatrist, our physicians refer you internally to our own psychiatry team, so there's no external waitlist to join.

You've read this far. That's usually the sign.
