The questions that keep people from booking, answered plainly.

No fine print, no hedging.

Is this actually free?

Yes. Physician visits are billed to AHCIP the same way a walk-in clinic visit is. No credit card to book, no membership, no session fee. Optional counselling is quoted up front.

Do I need a referral?

No. You book yourself. If you need a psychiatrist, our physicians refer you internally to our own psychiatry team, no external waitlist to join.

Will they push medication on me?

No. Medication is one option among therapy, CBT, sleep and lifestyle work, or simply monitoring. You decide, and many patients never start medication at all.

Will I be judged?

Our first job is to listen. Visits are private, encrypted, stored on Canadian servers, and never shared, not with your employer, not with your family, without your consent.

Two questions and you’ll know exactly what this costs you.

Physician visits at EaseCare are billed to the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan, the same way a walk-in clinic visit is. There’s no membership, no session fee, and no credit card at booking.

Counselling and other non-physician services are optional and quoted to you up front. You’ll never be charged for something you didn’t agree to.

1. Do you live in Alberta?

2. Do you have a valid Alberta Health Card?

From booking to a real care plan, without a referral.

You book yourself, and if you need a psychiatrist, the referral happens inside our own team.

Step 01

Book in about four minutes

Pick a time that works. No referral, no payment details, no long intake form before you’re allowed to talk to someone.

No referral required

Step 02

Meet your physician

A full one-hour private video visit, enough time to actually be heard. They listen first, then assess, and explain what they’re seeing in plain language.

From home, on any device

Step 03

Leave with a real plan

A written care plan, and where it’s needed, an internal referral to our psychiatrists or counsellors. Follow-up appointments are unlimited.

Not ready to book? Start with one question.

It isn’t a diagnosis, it’s a gentle way to put words to how you’ve been feeling, and it gives your doctor a head start.

Question 1 of 15

Over the last two weeks, how often have you felt down, empty, or hopeless?

You'll be seen by physicians, not a chatbot.

Every EaseCare clinician is licensed and regulated by their provincial college.

Bonnie B.

I was expecting a long process, but it turned out to be very efficient. I was able to connect with a physician quickly and have a meaningful conversation. The consultation was clear and helpful, and it gave me a better understanding of what I've been dealing with.

Still deciding?

These are the things people ask us most often before their first appointment.

Book free appointment

Your physician appointments are billed directly to the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan, exactly like a visit to a walk-in clinic. You are not asked for a credit card to book, there's no membership, and there's no per-session fee. Optional non-physician services such as counselling are quoted to you in advance, you'll never be charged for anything you didn't agree to.

No. You book directly. If your care plan needs a psychiatrist, our physicians handle that referral internally to our in-house psychiatry team, you don't have to chase paperwork or join an external waitlist.

There's no waitlist to join and no referral to chase. You pick an available time yourself and our team confirms it. If you're in crisis, call 911 or the 988 Suicide Crisis Helpline, EaseCare is not an emergency service.

No. Medication is one option your physician will explain alongside therapy, CBT, sleep and lifestyle changes, or watchful monitoring. The decision is yours, and many of our patients never start medication. If you do, you get unlimited follow-up appointments to adjust or stop it.

Only your care team. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on Canadian servers, and handled under PIPEDA and Alberta's Health Information Act. Nothing is shared, including with your employer or family, without your explicit consent.

That's common, and it's the point of our model. Our physicians assess across 100+ conditions spanning all 19 DSM-5-TR categories, so overlapping issues like anxiety plus insomnia plus ADHD get one coordinated plan rather than three separate referrals.

A private one-hour video visit, a full appointment, not a triage call. Your physician asks what's been going on, how long, what you've tried, and what you want to change. You leave with an assessment and a written care plan, plus as many follow-up appointments as you need.

Yes. We offer child and adolescent psychiatry, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, and school-related difficulties. A parent or guardian books and attends the first appointment.

The hardest part is the next five minutes.

Pick a time, answer a few questions, and get a full hour with an Alberta physician. Free, confidential, no referral.
